The GLOW area, “Forum,” provides spaces for exchange and discussion on the Web. "Forum" consists of a guest book, an open discussion forum, internal working groups, and our comprehensive e-learning platform, “Online Campus.” Several of these areas are still under construction (i.e. guest book, open discussion forum) while we restructure GLOW into a barrier-free web portal.

Summer School 2007
The fifth Summer School of the Heinrich Böll Foundation on „Engendering Economic Policies in a Globalizing World“ will take place from July 27th to August 4th, 2007 in Washington, DC.  It will focus on a critical analysis of the gender implications of the International Financial Institutions’ policies and projects.  Read more about [Summer School].

Virtual Campus
The GLOW "Virtual Campus" is the e-learning platform of the Feminist Institute. Transnational and more localized seminars take place here, regardless of space or time. GLOW Campus provides seminars with discussion forums, a library, a photo gallery, a virtual café, chatrooms, and file transfer opportunities. The seminars focus on feminism, gender, and politics. Gunda Werner Doctoral Fellowship
The Gunda Werner Doctoral Fellowship seeks to support feminist critical theory and the next generation of feminist scholars at German universities. Each year, the Feminist Institute awards five doctoral fellowships in conjunction with the Gunda Werner Doctoral Fellowship. Fellows research a specified topic in the field of women’s and gender politics. The topic of the current session is “Gender Dynamics in Violent Conflicts.” [Gunda Werner Fellowship]
